The Level IIIA shields provide protection agains handgun rounds,whereas Levell In provide addtional rifle round protection. The <br /> contract for the purchase and acquisition of the ballistic shields will be procured through either a state contract or competitive bidding process as outlined in the City of Everett <br /> Procurement Policy 400-12-06. The Forensic Imaging Unit detectives are in need of a forensic imager to assist in evidentiary image processing efficiencies. The imagining device will be <br /> utilized for proessing digital evidence copies for storage and clears any previous evidence before reuse. The City of Everett Procurement Policy 400-12-06 will be followed in the <br /> purchase of this device. <br /> 4 <br />
