• • ORDINANCE No. 3068. AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property to the City of Everett in compliance with Chapter 128 of the Laws of the State of Washington, 1945. THAT WhLREAS, a petition in writing, signed by the owner•. of : ore than seventy-five (750) per cent in value according to the assessed valuation for general taxation of the property, for vthich annexation was petitioned, which petition set forth a de- scription of the property according to governmental legal sub- divisions and legal plats, end which petition was accompanied by a plat and drawing which outlined the boundaries of the property so ght to be annexed, has been filed with the City Commissioners of Everett, a municipal corJoration, and W ER {,AS, the Coy : issioners of the city of Everett, a municipal corporation, did fix the 5th day of April, 1946 for hearing uu.n said petition and caused notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Daily _Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in the city, and caused said notice also to be posted in three (3) places within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice as published and as posted specified the and place of hearing and invited interested persons to a) ear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation, and WHEREAS, following the hearing the Commissioners of Everett, a municipal corporation, have determined to annex all of the property described in the petition as hereinafter set forth. No A, TtEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1 : That the property hereinafter described be and the same is hereby annexed on the 25th day of May 1946, to Everett, a mun.icipa'. corporation: Begin at section corner common to Sections 3, 9, 16 and 17, Township 29 North, flange 5 East uV. M. ; thence South 890 53' 30" West along the South line of Section 8, Township 29 North, Range 5 East u. vi. , 956. 29 feet to an intersection with the Jyest line of the Great Northern :railway Company' s right of way, the true point of beginning; thence North 90 09 ' 30" :rest along the West line of the Great Northern Rail- way Company' s right-of-way 734. 60 feet; thence run South 720 12 ' 30" Nest 175 feet to the East boundary line of lot number 101, Bridgeway; thence North 200 30' SO" est 749. 93 feet along the Easterly line of lots 101 to 111, inclusive, to the intersection of the East line of State _Highway No. 1 right-of-way with the Northeast corner of lot No. 111 of Bridgeway; thence contin-sue North 200 30' 30" West 223. 82 feet to a point of intersection with the West line of state high- way No. 1 right-of-way; thence Northwesterly and parallel to the Easterly line of County road right-of-way to a point of intersection with the Southv;ester•ly right-of-way line of the Great Northern hallway Company' s right-of-way; thence continue along said right-of-may to the intersection of said right-of-way with the aest line of the Northeast quarter of Section 8, Township 29 North, Range 5 East vv.
