SMPE OF SERVICES These plans and accompanying calculations are for the 1I Force Resisting System
for Wind and Earthquake forces. All other structural information has been provided by others. The Wind and
Earthquake elements are designed based on the plans provided to Sound Structural Solutions, Inc. If the design
is revised, notify this office to see if the Wind and Earthquake design needs to be modified. These notes indicate
minimum design capacities needed for the Wind and Earthquake resisting elements . If the other structural
plans indicate a greater capacity, use that capacity.
CODE All conditions, materials and construction shall conform to the code specified in the DESIGN CRITERIA, or
other codes required by the governing jurisdiction.
PRCT=ON Through maintenance and current best practices, provide a building envelope that will preserve
the integrity of the structure throughout its lifetime.
M,PECMOM Notify Building Department for inspections required by local jurisdiction.
WOW MAMBIG in contact with concrete or masonry, or exposed to weather, shall be pressure treated.
COMC-MRS AM FASTENERS Fasteners, including nuts and mashers, and connectors in contact
with pressure treated wood shall be hot -dipped zinc -coated galvanized.
