1 <br /> City of Everett 01 11 00 -2 <br /> Project Title: Police Firing Range Bullet Trap Replacement I <br /> 1.4 PERMITS <br /> A. The Owner will pay the cost of the general plan review and building permit. The 1 <br /> Contractor shall be responsible to obtain and pay the cost of various other permits and <br /> connection fees required such as mechanical, plumbing, and electrical permits or <br /> connection fees and such shall be included in the Bid. <br /> 1.5 CODES AND STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS I <br /> A. All construction shall be in accordance with the Everett Municipal Code Title 16. This <br /> includes but is not limited to the International Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, <br /> International Fire Code, and the National Electrical Code. Latest editions. <br /> B. All construction shall be in accordance with the Washington State Energy Code, latest <br /> editions. <br /> C. All construction shall be in conformance with the City of Everett Design and Construction <br /> Standards and Specifications, latest edition. 1 <br /> D. All construction shall be in conformance with the WSDOT/APWA Standard <br /> Specifications and Standard Plans, latest edition. I <br /> E. Any material specified by reference to the number, symbol, or title of a specified <br /> standards, such as Commercial Standard Federal Specifications, a trade association <br /> standard, or other similar standard, shall comply with the requirements of the latest <br /> revision thereof, and any amendment or supplement thereto in effect on the date of <br /> Invitation for Bids, except as limited to type, class, or grade, or modified in such <br /> references. All work shall conform to the standard referred to, except as modified in <br /> these specifications and the drawings. <br /> 1.6 CONTRACTOR'S USE OF PREMISES S <br /> A. The Contractor shall assume full responsibility for protection and safekeeping of products <br /> under this Contract. <br /> B. The Contractor shall obtain and pay for use of additional storage for work areas needed <br /> for operations. I <br /> 1.7 CHECKING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> A. PRIOR SUBMISSION OF BIDS: The Contractor shall report any discrepancies or <br /> omissions in the plans and/or specifications to the Owner for a decision prior to the Bid <br /> Opening Date. ' <br /> B. RESOLUTION OF CONFLICTS: Where there is conflict between the plans and the <br /> specifications regarding materials, equipment, sizes, numbers or locations, the Owner <br /> shall be the sole judge in resolving the conflict. <br /> 01 11 00 - 2 SUMMARY OF WORK <br />
