• • Public Works Permit Application Narrative Project Address:6209 Bluff PI, Everett,WA 98203 Applicant Name:Alex&Ashley Pittman Hi there!We purchased our home in December 2020 and have since installed ourselves a paver patio in the back yard, and replacing our paver walkway in the front yard. Before we installed them, I attempted to look up whether we needed a permit,and mistakenly thought that we were in the clear because the 'Residential Construction'section of the City of Everett Permit Services page lists"decks"and"porches" but not patios. Some months later, I stumbled upon the City's Site Development page,and saw that"gravel, pavers,asphalt,concrete, etc."are listed as requiring a Public Works Permit.When I came upon this, I called the City to speak with a permit tech, who let talked me through the process for me to apply for this permit retroactively.Apologies for the misstep and confusion,and hope that I'm including all the information you need here. If you require any additional information, please let me know. Back Patio: The new paver patio in the backyard includes 344 SF of new paver surface. Front Walkway: The newly installed front walkway includes a total of 116 SF of paver surface.The previous front walkway included 111 SF of paver surface,for a net increase of 5 SF. Total: Between both the back patio and the front walkway,the project totals 349 SF of new paver surface.
