The steel notes can be retained if preferred —this was only a recommendation. They are confusing since the project doesn't include any structural steel that would require them. Also, any structural steel requires special inspection, which is not included in your list. This is ultimately at your discretion and responsibility to comply with the requirements of the code. Regarding the other issues, these are architectural -structural coordination issues, and must be resolved by the design team. The City is not part of the design team, and it is therefore not our place to resolve design issues. Per the review comments, the structural drawings contain information that conflicts with the architectural drawings, details that are not consistent with the plans, and may require additional information to support the architectural design. Detailed comments have been provided for these issues. Also, the structural drawings are incomplete with regard to the newly - added Juliet balcony structural framing, as well as potentially needing modifications to coordinate with the architectural design. These are design -coordination issues that the design team must resolve. Please let me know if you have questions regarding the review comments or the code requirements.
