The site is bordered to the east and south by residential
properties, to the north by Taylor Drive, and to the west by Baker Drive.
The project includes construction of a new multi -story residence in the central portion of the
property. Stormwater management may include dispersion, detention, or infiltration facilities
depending on feasibility.
Area Geology
The Geologic c Map of Washington - Northwest Quadrant indicates that the site is underlain by
Vashon Glacial Till.
Vashon Glacial Till is typically characterized by an unsorted, non -stratified mixture of clay, silt,
sand, gravel, cobbles and boulders in variable quantities. These materials are typically dense and
relatively impermeable.' The poor sorting reflects the mixing of the materials. as these sediments
were overridden and incorporated bythe ,glacial ice.
SOIM'Groundwater Conditions
As part of our evaluation, we excavated two hand borings to determine the shallow soil and
groundwater conditions, where accessible.
wwiw.cobaltgeo.com (2o6) 331-1097
