`3o Go <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE No. 3060. <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for allocation of an additional <br /> sum to cover the salary of Police Court Clerk for the balance of <br /> the year 1' 46, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Whereas, the sum of Ten Dollars ( a0.00) per month <br /> has been allowed in the Budget for the year 1;-46 for the salary <br /> of Police Court Clerk; and <br /> hEREAS, the work of Police Court Clerk has increased <br /> :In such a manner that no one can be secured to do this work for <br /> said sum; and <br /> HEhiAS, an emergency exists that could not have been <br /> reasonably foreseen at the time of making of the Budget for the <br /> year 1946, and it is necessary to appropriate the sum of ;iv 1710.00 <br /> to cover the additional salary of the Police Court Clerk for the <br /> balance of the ;ear 1946. <br /> THE CITY CF EVERETT DOES GRDAIN: <br /> Section 1 : That the sum of 190..•00 the <br /> and the <br /> same is hereby allocated for the purpose of paying the salary of <br /> Police Court Clerk for the balance of the year 1946, said salary <br /> to be paid in equal monthly payments commencing Al !1SZ, 1946, <br /> and to be in addition to the sum of Ten Dollars 4 0.00) per <br /> month being now paid for such position. <br /> Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated out of <br /> the General Current expense Fund of Everett, not otherwise udgetei , <br /> the sum of 1, 1710.00 , which sum shall be paid by the i s suan i e <br /> of emergency warrants drawn on such fund by the proper officers of <br /> the City of Everett as provided by law. <br /> Section 3: An emergency is declared to exist and <br /> this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> // ' <br /> u:a yo r <br /> Attest: <br /> 7 City Clerk <br /> Passed: March 19th, 1946. <br /> Published: 2k4i, 1940 . <br />
