F <br />i <br />c <br />i <br />Structural Solutions <br />May 31, 2022 <br />Mr. Kash Nikzad, P.E <br />TranTech Engineering <br />365 118th Ave, Suite 100 Bellevue, <br />WA 98005 <br />Re: City of Everett Grand Ave Pedestrian Truss Inspection. <br />Dear Kash, <br />Fickett Structural Solutions (Fickett) is pleased to provide you with this proposal for bridge inspection services. You <br />have indicated you would like us to perform Routine, Fracture Critical and Inventory Inspections of the City's Grand <br />Avenue pedestrian truss bridge located in Everett, WA. We propose the following to accomplish this work: <br />• Review existing plans. <br />• Create a bridge inspection record in WSDOT's bridge inspection database. <br />• Develop an access plan for access to all structural members, including but not limited to those over Grand <br />Avenue and the adjacent rail lines. <br />• Procure private traffic control for Grand Avenue and the adjacent rail lines. <br />• Perform a Routine, Fracture Critical, and Inventory Inspection of the bridge per current WSDOT Bridge <br />Inspection Standards. <br />• Update all Inventory inspection data, routine and fracture critical inspections findings, including, work <br />recommendations and photographs into the WSDOT bridge inspection database. <br />• Provide you with signed copies of the Routine and Fracture Critical Inspection reports. <br />All inspection related work will be conducted under the direct supervision a Professional Engineer, registered in the <br />State of Washington and with current WSDOT Certified Bridge Inspection Team Leader status. <br />A combination of a lifts and rope access may be utilized for access to bridge members. <br />Proposed traffic and rail control plans will be submitted to the City of Everett for approval prior to start of field work. <br />It is the City's option to provide traffic control using City personnel if they so desire. <br />The bridge owner shall provide permission and access to the bridge site. <br />We propose to complete this work at up to a maximum fee of $21,863. Fickett Structural Solutions will provide <br />additional bridge services on an on -call basis. Modifications or additions may require a modification to the proposed <br />maximum fee. <br />
