ATTACHMENT B <br />PROPERTY <br />County transport personnel will only accept Inmate property as follows: <br />1. The property shall be sealed in a single property bag no larger than a common paper <br />grocery bag. <br />2. Money, valuables, and medications shall be placed in a clear envelope and sealed within <br />the Inmate's property bag. <br />3. Checks and documents (court, warrants, etc) shall be attached to the outside of the <br />property bag. <br />4. The transporting officer shall account for the property bag and funds being transported. <br />Yakima County Department of Corrections transport personnel will not accept or <br />transport the following: <br />a) Backpacks, suitcases, etc. <br />b) Unpackaged food products or food products in packaging that has been opened. <br />c) Any type of weapon (includes pocketknives). <br />d) Liquids. <br />e) Any items that will not fit into the property bag. <br />f) Material deemed to be contraband. <br />Yakima County will limit property returned with the Inmate to the City according to these <br />criteria. <br />Agreement for Inmate Housing -- 2018 <br />Page 13 <br />
