August 31, 2022 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., <br /> August 31, 2022, President Stonecipher presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin, and Council Members Zarlingo, <br /> Vogeli, Schwab, Tuohy, Rhyne, and President Stonecipher were present. Council <br /> Member Fosse was excused. <br /> Council Member Rhyne led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> On behalf of the City Council, Council Member Schwab acknowledged the original <br /> inhabitants of this place, the sduhub people, and their successors, the Tulalip <br /> Tribes. <br /> The minutes of the August 24, 2022, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin read a proclamation recognizing September 2022, as Puget Sound <br /> Starts Here Month. <br /> Mayor Franklin invited Police Chief Dan Templeman to introduce six new police <br /> officers. <br /> OATH — POLICE OFFICERS <br /> Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Schwab, to <br /> concur with the appointments of Trysten Buckley, Ryan Eastham, D'Ondre <br /> Gibbs, Blake Johnson,Alieu Joof,and Taylor Smith as new Everett Police Officers. <br /> Roll was call with all Council members voting yes, except Council Member Fosse <br /> who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 1 <br />
