We recommend tliat we be <br />engaged to confirm bearinq soils and subgrade conditions filllaor <br />on-grade and propose3 foundation area before any <br />foundations are placed on the native subgrade. <br />6ITE DE6ChIYTION <br />The s:�e is 1^cate� on the south cide of :1Gth St:eet S.E., east- <br />southeast of the intersection of 19th Ave. S.E. and 116th Street <br />S.E., in Everett, Washington. The site consists of. an <br />approximately 11,500 sq. tr„ roughly rectangular shaped parcel. <br />At the time of our sit.e visit, there was a stream flowinq northward <br />along the eastern property line, and a swamp was observed just <br />soutt� of the southern property line. Gentle man made slopes were <br />observed alony the eastern propei-ty line, and just south of the <br />pruposed southern footing area. <br />At the time of o�r site visit, we ��bserved the prop�sed house <br />sicting on wheels and sup[�ort beame in the northern part of the <br />' �� <br />property. <br />���� <br />E'U9SURF'ACE CONDITION6 <br />The site subsurface conditions �ere determined by exc3vating t'area <br />(3) trackhoe test pics in the proposed souther� house footing <br />on "rtarch 16, 1991. 'fhe teat pits were located by our geologist in <br />the field and excavated to between two (2) nnd six and one-half (6 <br />1/2) feet belov the existinq surface. Ths soils observed in the <br />test pits were described in the field and classified using the <br />Unified Soil� Classificati.on System. All elevations mentioned in <br />this letter are referenced to Yhe existing grade at the time of our <br />field work. <br />
