I <br /> City of Everett 00 11 13 - 1 <br /> Water Filter Plant Emergency Generator Project WO# 3587 <br /> SECTION 00 11 13 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> S <br /> I <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the Water Filter Plant Emergency Generator <br /> Replacement Project will be received at the office of the City Clerk, 1st Floor Wall Street <br /> Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, Washington 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June <br /> 21st, 2022. At the appointed time, all bids will be opened and read aloud publicly via <br /> webcast only. The link for the webcast is located at <br /> https//www.everettwa.gov/319/Procurement. The engineer's estimate for this Project is <br /> $2,500,000, not including sales tax. <br /> I <br /> The City of Everett owns a Water Filter Plant located near Monroe, WA and is seeking a <br /> Contractor to replace the existing emergency generator system. Proposed work includes, <br /> but is not limited to, removal of two existing generators and associated appurtenances, <br /> partial demolition and reconstruction of buildings housing the generators, installation of <br /> ' two new generators, fuel tanks, fuel delivery systems, electrical infrastructure, and <br /> generator synching and control infrastructure, and generator system testing, <br /> commissioning, and utility synching coordination. The generators, fuel tank, and electrical <br /> synching and control equipment will be provided by the City of Everett. The Water Filter <br /> Plant is located at 6133 Lake Chaplain Road, Monroe, WA 98272. <br /> Pre-bid meetings are scheduled at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 7th, 2022 and at 2:00 <br /> p.m., Thursday, June 9th, 2022 on site at 6133 Lake Chaplain Road, Monroe, WA <br /> 98272. Attendance to one pre-bid meeting is mandatory. A Bid received from a <br /> Bidder who did not attend one pre-bid meeting and sign the sign-in sheet will be <br /> found not responsible and the bid will be rejected. Any questions and/or answers that <br /> may affect the bid will be included in an addendum to the bid documents and sent to all <br /> the plan holders. <br /> Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and <br /> Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to <br /> www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of <br /> Everett". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with <br /> the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous <br /> reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that <br /> Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and <br /> to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List".
