The grant <br />funds are being reallocated from a different project per the grant amendment routed to <br />Council for approval on September 28th, 2022. Grant agreement WQC-2019-EverPW- <br />00051. <br />Project summary statement: <br />This project will include conveyance improvements, a new river outfall, and water <br />quality treatment in Lexington Avenue, Broadway, and Lowell Road. The design will also <br />include separation of stormwater from the combined sewer system. It will address <br />recurring flooding issues at multiple locations along a single stormwater conveyance <br />trunk line while also reducing overflows at Snohomish River Outfalls 7 and 8. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the professional services agreement with HDR Engineering, <br />Inc. for the Lexington Avenue Storm Drainage Improvements Preliminary Design project. <br />
