Per IBC 427.2.2,the required interior walls providing fire protection to the room are to be constructed as fire <br /> barriers which are subject to the continuity requirements of IBC 707.5.1. The Type III-B construction does not <br /> appear to be have the fire-resistive floor construction required to maintain the level of fire protection of the <br /> supporting construction.
