September 28, 2022 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 12:30 p.m., <br /> September 28, 2022, Vice President Tuohy presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Fosse, <br /> Rhyne, Schwab, Vogeli, Zarlingo, and Tuohy were present. President Stonecipher <br /> was excused. <br /> Council Member Zarlingo led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> On behalf of the City Council, Council Member Schwab acknowledged the original <br /> inhabitants of this place, the sduhubs people, and their successors, the Tulalip <br /> Tribes. <br /> The minutes of the September 21, 2022, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> State of Washington Auditor's Stewardship Award <br /> Pat McCarthy, Washington State Auditor, presented the City with the State of <br /> Washington Auditor's Stewardship Award. <br /> Mayor Franklin thanked the Finance and Economic Development teams for their <br /> hard work to achieve this award. <br /> Mayor Franklin also commented on the Sound Transit realignment and invited the <br /> public to watch the Sound Transit Everett Link Extension: Elected Leadership <br /> Group meeting scheduled for this afternoon at 3 p.m. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Council administrator Angela Ely stated Council received one (1)written comment <br /> from John Stanton; and one (1) member of the public who wished to speak: <br /> 1 <br />
