For Oxidation Pond samples: Take care to reduce speed in the vicinity of the Diversion <br />Structure Overflow outlet marked by a buoy. <br />h. Mount the Garmin Chartplotter on the bracket mounted on the rail to the captain’s left, or <br />located in the mount by the seat to the captain’s left using two bolts and two wing nuts, so <br />that, once mounted, the Garmin Chartplotter will face the interior of the boat . <br />i. Plug in the Chartplotter to the adapter on the captain’s console. <br />ii. Power on the Chartplotter. <br />iii. Accept the User Agreement. <br />iv. Press the power button repeatedly to scroll through brightness levels, if desired. <br />v. Select Menu. <br />vi. Use the arrow keys to highlight Sonar and Select. <br /> <br />vii. Select Traditional. <br /> <br />viii. Use the minus button to decrease maximum pond depth to 10 feet, if the Garmin does <br />not automatically adjust to that depth.
