2.17 QUALITY AND WORKMANSHIP <br />The City expects the contractor to properly maintain each property to the highest level of landscape <br />maintenance industry standards. The contractor will notify and alert the City's site designee of any <br />deficiencies or damage, which in the professional opinion of the contractor may need attention. <br />2.18 SUBMITTALS <br />Prior to the start of the contract, the contractor will furnish any Safety Data Sheets (SDS) information of <br />products, chemicals, or compounds which may be used at any property as part of the maintenance and <br />upkeep. The contractor will furnish any updates as necessary to keep all SDS information current. <br />All chemicals of any type must be pre -approved by City of Everett Facilities Department prior to utilization <br />or application. The contractor must list the proposed chemicals and necessary information with Form 4.03 <br />Questionnaire. At a minimum, the contractor must provide the name of the material, the rate of <br />application, and where it is to be used. Failure to furnish such prior notification may be considered as non- <br />performance of work. <br />The contractor must maintain chemical application records for any assigned City of Everett property and if <br />requested, must furnish a copy to the City. <br />2.19 RECORD KEEPING <br />In accordance with RCW 17.21, Section 100, records must be kept by the contractor on all pesticide and <br />herbicide applications for a minimum of seven (7) years. Such records must be completed in accordance <br />with all applicable laws and regulations and on forms as provided in the Washington Administrative Code, <br />WAC 16.228, General Pesticide Rules. <br />The following information must be recorded at a minimum for each application: <br />• The location where the pesticide or herbicide was applied. <br />• The year, month, day, and time the pesticide or herbicide was applied. <br />• Purpose of application. <br />• The person or firm who supplied the pesticide or herbicide which was applied. <br />• Trade name of the pesticide or herbicide which was applied, amount, and concentration. <br />• Method and rate of application. <br />• The temperature and direction and estimated velocity of the wind at the time the pesticide or <br />herbicide was applied. <br />• The name and license number of the pesticide or herbicide applicator. <br />• Applicator apparatus license plate number or equipment number, if applicable. <br />Contractor must supply the city with written copies of chemical application records monthly. <br />2.20 CONTRACT TRANSITION <br />In the event of a follow-on contract award to another supplier, the Proposer shall ensure a cooperative <br />and smooth transition to a new contract provider and shall provide all records, status reports and <br />contract files as agreed with the provided notice of termination. <br />
