The award cost is $644,959.14, which includes <br />Washington state sales tax. The Department of Ecology grant will cover 75% of the project. The <br />City's funding match is 25% of the total costs. <br />Project summary statement: <br />The City of Everett received a Washington State Department of Ecology Stormwater grant to <br />improve the water quality in the stormwater runoff at different locations within the City. The grant <br />aims to improve the water quality in Port Gardner Bay by installing Modular Wetland Systems. <br />The Modular Wetland System replicates natural processes to remove a variety of pollutants from <br />stormwater runoff, including fine total suspended solids, bacteria, oils, grease, heavy metals, and <br />harmful nutrients like nitrates and phosphorus. <br />The systems requested to be awarded will be installed at the following locations: <br />1. PSO3 Location: 200 W. Marine View Drive, Everett, WA 98201 <br />2. PSO2 Location: 1400 W. Marine View Drive, Everett, WA 98201 <br />3. Baywood Location: 1620 W. Marine View Drive, Everett, WA 98201 <br />The Invitation for Bid (IFB) was sent to five (5) suppliers, posted on the City website, and advertised <br />in the Everett Herald. The City received one bid from Ferguson Enterprises. <br />Staff recommends an award to Ferguson Enterprises. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the award of Invitation for Bid 2022-032 Modular Wetland Systems — Linear to Ferguson <br />Enterprises for $644,959.14, which includes Washington State sales tax <br />
