commission or omission procures, aids, or abets such violation, shall subject to the enforcement procedures established pursuant to Everett Municipal Code Chapter 1.20 upon conviction,shall be punished by a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars and/or imprisonment for a term not to exceed ninety days. Each day such violation continues shall be considered an additional misdemeanor offense. Section 35. Everett Municipal Code Section 14.56.150 is hereby amended to read as follows: A violation of this chapter or violation of any order of the public works director or his/her designee pursuant to this chapter shall be subject to the enforcement procedures established pursuant to Everett Municipal Code Chapter 1.20 a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed five thousand dollars per day or per occurrence. Section 36. Everett Municipal Code Section 16.03.390(D) is hereby amended to read as follows: D. Subsection 5601.7.1 of the IFC, entitled "Seizure of fireworks," is hereby added: 5601.7.1 Seizure of fireworks. Fireworks seized pursuant to Section 5601.1.3 by the city fire marshal or designee or the chief of police or designee or the State Fire Marshal may be disposed of immediately.
