Provide calculations showing a new <br />header sized for the design loads of the existing roof framing and new roof framing. Plans <br />should specify whereframing <br />requirements. the framing and the elevations have been verified <br />17. Please provide a building cross section starting the cut from the Study Hall/Loft Area through to <br />the deck. Ithe partial section has been added to the revised plans <br />18. dentify all trusses used as drag struts and show loads on framing plan. see engineering letter form <br />19. See Sheet 4. Hold down forces from shear walls along the Upper Floor Fr the engineer of record <br />to be supported on the garage header. The Upper Floor Rear shear wall appears to be <br />supported on cantilevered floor joists. Connecting elements supporting discontinuous walls or <br />frames should be designed including an over -strength factor. Calculations should show <br />connecting elements can support the uplift load including the overstren th factor. Please see <br />ASCE 7 Table 12.3-2 (4) and ASCE 7 Sec see engineering letter form the engineer of record <br />This review has been performed for general <br />amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made <br />during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit <br />requirements.
