I cannot sign
off for Planning until the height calculations have been addressed; height calculations have been provided on the site
plan but have not been provided on the elevation(s)to demonstrate compliance. The elevations identify different
"grade" markers and total height calculations but it is unclear how the height calculations themselves relate i.e. where
the average base elevation is, maximum elevation allowed, and actual elevation height proposed. Please see page 2 of
the Building Height Handout for reference.
You are welcome to email me a pdf copy of the elevation(s)that include the appropriate height calculation references.
As a reminder, if the proposed height is within 1' of the maximum allowed a base elevation and height survey shall be
required; refer to the height handout linked above for details.
Please provide this information at your earliest convenience so I can wrap up the Planning review and approval of your
permit. If you have any Planning questions in the meantime, please let me know.
Best,
Kelsey Heyd
alAssociate Planner I Community, Planning& Economic Development
425.257.8731 13200 Cedar Street 2nd Fl., Everett,WA 98201
EVERETT everettwa.gov I Facebook I Twitter
Note:Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to
the Public Records Act.
From: Kelsey Heyd
Sent:Tuesday, October 12, 2021 4:41 PM
To: Michael/Shannon PALACIOS<msanp@comcast.net>
Subject: REVII21-025 and B2109-031-2207 Gibson PI
Good Afternoon Mike,
Thank you for submitting a building permit application (B2109-031) and land use application (REVII21-025)for the
proposed accessory building at 2207 Gibson PI.
