<br /> I have provided the lateral and gravity load engineering for the Langus 3-Car Garage,
<br /> located at 2207 Gibson Place Everett.
<br /> The items in italics below are from Plan Review 1 dated November 4, 2021.
<br /> Engineering responses are below the plan review items. Please toss the previous
<br /> engineering and replace with engineering dated 11/18/2021.
<br /> 1. The construction drawings should include a wood framing fastener schedule. Refer to
<br /> IRC Table R602.3 (1) and list applicable connections on the drawings. Fasteners,
<br /> including nuts and washers, and connectors in contact with preservative-treated wood
<br /> and fire-retardant-treated wood shall be in accordance with Section R317.3. References
<br /> to this table do not satisfy this requirement.
<br /> The wood framing fastening schedule is on engineering Sheet NI. The IBC table was
<br /> referenced since the engineering is to the IBC. Fasteners in contact with preservative-
<br /> treated wood are also addressed on N1. The areas on N1 for nailing and preservative
<br /> treatment are circled in the image below for reference.
