BURGHDUFF SHOP Upstream Analysis It appears the site may receive minor sheet flow runoff from residential lawn,pasture, and driveway areas on the adjacent parcels to the north and northeast of the site. No other runoff appears to enter the site and no erosion due to existing runoff was observed. Downstream Analysis A downstream analysis was provided by Nathan Thompson,E.T. of Western Engineers &Surveyors,Inc, on March 29th,2021. The weather was partly cloudy with a temperature around 60 degrees. Refer to the aerial map in the next section of this report for a depiction of the site runoff paths. The entire property tends to slope in the southwesterly direction, and the norths portion of the site runoff exiting the property flows southwest onto adjacent residential lawn areas on the parcels west of the site while the remaining southerly portion of the site sheet flows in a southerly direction onto 6th Street. The runoff continues to flow across the adjacent parcel to the west and onto Wayne Ave. Bothe runoff flowing onto 6th Street and the runoff flowing onto Wayne Ave are intercepted by storm drains and routed in a southwesterly direction into the existing Storm Drain and Sanitary Sewer mains within the center of 6th Street. The runoff follows this main in a westerly direction for approximately 500 feet until it enters a manhole and is redirected in a southerly direction beneath Waverly Ave for approximately 900 feet. Due to private fencing,busy streets, and limited access,further visual downstream observations could not be performed. Subsequent downstream paths were determined with the use of aerial and topographic maps. According to maps,the flow enters a manhole at the south end of the cul-de-sac along Waverly Ave and is redirected in a southeasterly direction for approximately 3,600 feet through a series of manholes. At this point the runoff continues to follow the combined sewer and storm drain main in an easterly direction beneath Pine Street. The downstream analysis was ended as the distance from the site exceeds one mile; no further downstream analysis is required. Drainage Complaints There are no known drainage complaints for this site.
