DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE LEASE AMENDMENT NO. 06 <br /> UNITED STATES FOREST SERVICE <br /> LEASE AMENDMENT TO LEASE NO. 1204H107L0509 <br /> ADDRESS OF PREMISES: Puget Sound Interagency Communications Center(PSICC) <br /> 2930 Wetmore Ave.,Suite 3A <br /> Everett,WA 98201 <br /> THIS AMENDMENT,made and entered into on this date by and between the City of Everett,whose address is 2930 Wetmore Ave., <br /> Everett WA 98201 hereinafter called the Lessor,and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, hereinafter called the Government: <br /> WHEREAS,the parties hereto desire to amend the above Lease for the purposes of exercising a 3rd priced renewal. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,the parties covenant and agree that the said Lease is amended,effective 10/01/2022 as follows: <br /> LEASE TERM <br /> In accordance with Lease Amendment 1 to Lease No. 1204H107L0509,dated May 23, 2007,the government is exercising its third renewal <br /> option outlined in paragraph 7. Instead of using the full 60-month renewal available, the lease will be renewed for 15 months, <br /> terminating 12/30/2023. For the purposes of clarity, the parties agree that the remaining 45 months of the third renewal option are waived <br /> and may no longer be exercised. There is no option under the lease to renew or extend the lease beyond 12/30/2023. <br /> RENT <br /> The Government shall pay the Lessor an annual rent of$79,442.90 per year at a rate of$6,620.24 per month in arrears and an annual rent <br /> increase of 3%effective upon execution of the lease. Rent for a lessor period shall be prorated. <br /> Dates Annual Rent Monthly Rent <br /> 10/01/2022—09/30/2023 $79,442.90 $6,620.24 <br /> 10/01/2023—12/30/2023 $20,456.56 $6,818,85 <br /> The aforementioned rental schedule includes annual adjustments of 3%and shall not be adjusted per the Consumer Price Index.
