October 26, 2022 <br />1 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 12:30 p.m., <br />October 26, 2022, Vice President Tuohy presiding. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Fosse, <br />Rhyne, Vogeli, Zarlingo, and Tuohy were present. Council Members Schwab and <br />Stonecipher were excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />On behalf of the City Council, Council Member Fosse acknowledged the original <br />inhabitants of this place, the sduhubš people, and their successors, the Tulalip <br />Tribes. <br /> <br />The minutes of the October 21, 2022, City Council meeting were approved as <br />printed. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin had no comments. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Council administrator Angela Ely stated Council received one (1) written comment <br />from Gail Chism and had five (5) member of the public who wished to speak: <br /> <br />• Rich Deditius spoke about the proposed bike lanes on Madison Avenue. <br />• David Webster and Tyler Stump spoke about safety and crime around the <br />Fred Meyer on Evergreen Way. <br />• Paula Townsell and Mary Rollins spoke about the Redistricting Commission <br />and process. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
