In our study, we did not recommend using a seismic surcharge for the wall. <br /> However, we understand that the project structural engineer felt it was necessary and has added it <br /> into the wall design. In our opinion, this seismic surcharge load is in addition to what we <br /> recommended in our study, so it is suitable to use in our opinion. <br /> We appreciate the opportunity to be of service on this project.
