CHANGE ORDER #
EVERETT 0001
WASHINGTON
Project (Procurement) Number: Small Works Roster Project Title:
IFQ #2022-066 Madison Morgan — Park Trail Improvements
Description of Change:
BUILDING/LOCATION: Madison Morgan Park, 518 Madison Street, Everett, WA 98203
After the award, the contractor was beginning the preliminary stages of installing engineered wood
fiber chips on the park trail per the project plan. At that time, the contractor noticed the inconsistency
in material and color between the currently installed wood chips and the new wood chips per the
specifications. The contractor brought the inconsistency in chips to the Project Manager.
The contractor and project manager determined that using wood chip mulch, or "hog fuel," on the
new trail instead of engineered wood fiber chips would create a consistent appearance on the project
trail. The change to the wood chip mulch will result in a reduction in cost to the city. Also, the chips
will require less maintenance, resulting in additional long-term savings for the city.
The changes described above result in the following adjustment(s) in price and contract time (in calendar days).
Completion
I Change $99,393.13 Contract Time&Completion Date Prior 120 Date Prior
*Total Project Price Prior to this to This Change
01/23/23
*Net(Increase)or(Decrease)Resulting from Net(Increase)or(Decrease)Resulting
this Change+ -$247.28 from this Change
Completion
*Total Project Price Including this Change $99,145.85 Contract Time&Completion Date 1 20 Date After
Including This Change 01/23/23
By signing below, City of Everett and the Contractor agree that the Contract work shall be changed to the extent
described in the above "Description of Change" and that the compensation shown above represents complete
compensation for all such changes, including all direct and indirect costs and impacts.
