MR #2 Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention
(SWPPP)
All new development and redevelopment projects are responsible for preventing erosion and discharge of
sediment and other pollutants into receiving waters. A Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan
(Construction SWPPP) is designed to be a stand-alone document that addresses construction stormwater
management concerns. A copy of this SWPPP is required to be kept by the contractor performing the work at
the jobsite for reference and updated during the duration of construction.
Task 1: Describe the project during construction
(You may attach a narrative that answers the following questions)
Nature and purpose of the construction project:
The proposed project includes subdivision of the existing main lot and construction of a
new single-family residence with attached garage, and associated driveway. Frontage
improvements will consist of widening both Cypress St and E Beech St and
construction of curb, putter, and sidewalk along E Beech St. An ADA ramp will also be
Adjacent areas, including streams, lakes, wetlands, residential areas, and roads that might be
affected by the construction project:
No stream, wetland, or lake is present in the close proximity of the project. An existing
ditch along E Beech St will be replaced by storm pipe as part of the frontage
improvement. Also, existing ditch outlet culvert will be replaced by a 12" storm pipe.
How upstream drainage areas may affect the site:
There are no upstream areas to the project site since the site is located at a relative
local high point.
Downstream drainage leading from the site to a receiving body of water:
The site stormwater flows north via the City of Everett storm drainage system and
discharges into Pigeon Creek in approximately 1.1 miles.
Critical areas that receive runoff from the site up to one -quarter mile away:
No critical area is present within a quarter mile from the site.
Special requirements and provisions for working near or within critical areas:
N/A
City of Everett Public Works
Small Project Stormwater Site Plan Report -Dec 2019
