November 16, 2022 <br />1 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., <br />November 16, 2022, President Stonecipher presiding. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin, and Council Members Vogeli, <br />Zarlingo, Fosse, Schwab, and President Stonecipher were present. Council <br />Member Tuohy and Rhyne were excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Schwab led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />On behalf of the City Council, Council Member Fosse acknowledged the original <br />inhabitants of this place, the sduhubš people, and their successors, the Tulalip <br />Tribes. <br /> <br />The minutes of the November 9, 2022, City Council meeting were approved as <br />printed. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin invited Chief Dan Templeman from the Police Department to <br />introduce a new police officer. <br /> <br /> OATH – POLICE OFFICER <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Vogeli, seconded by Council Member Schwab, to <br />concur with the appointment of Joe Wilson as a new Everett Police Officer. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Members <br />Tuohy and Rhyne who were excused. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />The Deputy City Clerk administered the oath of office, and council members <br />congratulated Police Officer Wilson. <br />
