December 7, 2022 <br />1 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., <br />December 7, 2022, President Stonecipher presiding. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin, and Council Members Tuohy, <br />Schwab, Fosse, Zarlingo, Vogeli, Rhyne, and President Stonecipher were present. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />On behalf of the City Council, Council Member Vogeli acknowledged the original <br />inhabitants of this place, the sduhubš people, and their successors, the Tulalip <br />Tribes. <br /> <br />The minutes of the November 30, 2022, City Council meeting were approved as <br />printed. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin offered condolences to the Morrow family, in the passing of <br />former City Council member Edward Morrow who passed away on November 25, <br />2022. <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin invited Library Director Abigail Colley to introduce the Everett <br />Public Library Board of Trustees President, Nick Shekeryk for an annual update. <br /> <br />LIBRARY BOARD UPDATE <br />Presented by Nick Shekeryk, Everett Public Library Board of <br />Trustees President <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Council Executive Angela Ely stated Council received (5) five written comments, <br />and there was (21) twenty-one members of the public who wished to speak: <br /> <br />• Mark Riker: Project Labor Agreement
