600 Ninth Ave Apts COAST <br /> FELINE PET ADDENDUM TO APARTMENT RENTAL AGREEMENT <br /> Apartment Address: 600 9th Ave.#1 -401,Seattle,WA 98104 <br /> Resident(s): City of Everett <br /> This Addendum agreement between City of Everett as as Resident and Harborview Tower located at 600 9th Ave the City <br /> of Seattle, County of King, is hereby attached to and by this reference made a part of that certain Apartment Rental <br /> Agreement between the parties hereto. The purpose of this Addendum is to allow individual residents to keep a domestic <br /> household feline as is herein defined and limited and ensure that feline ownership does not interfere with the rights of all <br /> residents to enjoy clean, quiet and safe surroundings. Only feline s are permitted as pets in this apartment complex. Other <br /> domestic animals, including dogs, are specifically prohibited. Both parties agree: <br /> 1. Residents are required to provide the following information prior to moving a feline in to the Apartment Community. <br /> a. A written description and color photo of the feline. <br /> b. A copy of the current license from the City/County and provide proof of renewal when applicable. <br /> c. A copy of veterinarian inoculation records for rabies, distemper, parvo virus and all other state and locally required <br /> inoculations and renewals of records when required. <br /> d. Documentation of spaying/neutering of the feline. <br /> e. Name, address and phone number of one or more responsible parties who will care for the feline if the Resident is <br /> unable to care for the feline. <br /> 2. Resident will pay a $0.00 refundable feline deposit and a non-refundable feline fee of $200.00. The additional feline <br /> deposit will cover damages to the property caused by keeping the feline, including damages to the common areas and <br /> grounds or any other damages found at the time of surrender of the apartment unit.The feline deposit will also be used to <br /> house/board the feline if Resident or the responsible party designated in paragraph 1(e), above is unable to be reached <br /> or care for the feline. <br /> 3. The total number of felines cannot exceed 2 per apartment and the feline shall not exceed 10 pounds at adult age. <br /> 4. Residents shall not leave the feline unattended for more than 24 hours in the Resident's apartment. Resident shall make <br /> arrangements for the feline to be taken care of if Resident will be absent from the apartment community for more than 8 <br /> hours. <br /> 5. The feline shall: <br /> a. Remain in the Resident's apartment. <br /> b. Be appropriately and effectively restrained and under the control of a responsible adult when leaving and entering the <br /> Resident's apartment through the common areas. <br /> c. Wear an identification collar. <br /> d. Not be tethered or fenced in the common areas or yard areas. <br /> e. Be fed in the apartment. Feline food or water may not be left outside apartment at any time. <br /> 6. This apartment community does not provide an outdoor feline exercise area and the feline must therefore be removed <br /> from the property grounds to deposit their waste. Fecal matter must be picked up if deposited before leaving the area. <br /> Litter boxes used in the apartment are to be changed once per week and used litter deposited in the garbage dumpster <br /> only. <br /> 7. Resident shall not care for felines of others in their apartment. <br /> 8. Resident shall not feed stray animals. Feeding stray animals will be considered keeping a pet without permission. <br /> 9. Resident agrees to adhere to the current local Animal Control Ordinances. <br /> 10. Management shall have the right to enter the Resident apartment and immediately remove any animal including the feline <br /> belonging to Resident that is determined by management or any other public authority to constitute, under state or local <br /> law, a nuisance or a threat to the health or safety of the occupants of the apartment community or other members of the <br /> community and/or terminate this Lease as provided herein. If the animal in question requires immediate removal, <br /> Resident will be responsible for all expenses for animal placement. Management will notify Resident upon receipt of any <br /> written complaints regarding the Resident's feline. <br /> 11. To the extent of a Resident's negligence, Resident shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the apartment community <br /> from and against all claims, damages, actions, suits, judgments and demands including reasonable attorney's fees and <br /> cost brought by any person or entity on account of or in connection with any activity of, damage or personal injury caused <br /> by Resident's feline. <br /> A 22 On-Site <br />
