600 Ninth Ave Apts COAST <br /> INFESTATION RESPONSIBLITIES ADDENDUM <br /> Tenant(s): City of Everett <br /> Unit No.: 1 -401 <br /> This document is an addendum to the lease agreement signed by the above resident(s)for the residence indicated at the 600 <br /> Ninth Ave Apts community. <br /> 1. In recent months, the influx of visitors to this area has generated the need for increased vigilance amount all tenants to <br /> prevent apartment infestation of any kind before it begins. <br /> The 600 Ninth Ave Apts community is devoted to the highest standards in implementing this policy. The apartment you <br /> are about to occupy has been tested for any form of infestation by professionals trained in this field and has been found to <br /> be clear in all respects. <br /> 2. Under existing Washington law each tenant has the responsibility to "properly dispose from his or her dwelling unit all <br /> rubbish, garbage, and other organic or flammable waste, in a clean and sanitary manner at reasonable and regular <br /> intervals, and assume all costs of extermination and fumigation for infestation caused by the tenant," RCW 59.18.130 (2). <br /> 3. During your tenancy, should you discover any form of infestation, you must immediately notify management such that a <br /> professional treatment program may be devised to treat and eliminate any further expansion of the condition. Failure to <br /> notify management of such a condition will be considered a material breach of this agreement and will form the basis for <br /> consideration of the termination of tenancy at the 600 Ninth Ave Apts community. <br /> 4. At move-out, your unit will again be inspected for any signs of infestation. Residents are responsible for the cost of any <br /> treatment required at that time to cure any infestation detected for which they or their guests or invitees were the cause, <br /> which charges will be deducted from the security deposit for this residence.
