The programmed available funding for the design phase is $2,400,000. Project summary statement: This project includes the design and construction of new pipelines, existing manhole retrofits, new regulator/flow diversion structures to divert high wet -weather flows to the Port Gardner Storage Facility (PGSF) instead of to existing overflow outfalls (PS05, PS06, and PS07). This is one of several conveyance projects required for the PGSF program to meet the agreed order with Ecology to reduce overflows by 2027. This ordinance will provide funding for the design phase of the improvement project. Upon completion of design, Public Works will return with a new ordinance that will include construction funding for Council consideration. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled "PGSF Bond Street Combined Sewer Improvements" Fund 336, Program 033.
