The <br />programmed available funding for the project is $900,000. <br />Project summary statement: <br />This project includes the demolition and replacement of an existing 250 square -foot <br />building located on the south end of the filter building. A new structure will be <br />constructed adjacent to the existing building, which will house two air scour blowers and <br />associated electrical and control components. <br />The air scour blower system agitates water filtration media during the filter backwash <br />process and is a critical component of the filtration system. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled "WFP Air <br />Scour Blower Building Replacement" Fund 336, Program 034. <br />
