ARTICLE 16- CIRCULATION ASSISTANT USHELVERS <br /> Section 1: <br /> Circulation Assistant I/Shelvers perform a variety of tasks throughout the Library. Circulation Assistant <br /> I/Shelvers work is not seasonal in nature and for this reason the only limitation on employment duration is <br /> funding capacity and performance. <br /> A. Circulation Assistant I/Shelvers shall be compensated at the hourly rate schedule identified in <br /> Article 7 and Appendix 1. Step increases shall occur consistent with other regular part-time <br /> employees. <br /> B. Circulation Assistant I/Shelvers shall accrue holiday,sick leave,vacation time,longevity,and all <br /> other benefits on a pro-rated basis based on regular hours worked,with the exception of medical <br /> insurance(unless required by law), life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment <br /> coverage as outlined in Article 12. Circulation Assistant I/Shelvers shall be covered by all <br /> provisions of this Collective Bargaining Agreement,unless otherwise specified. <br /> C. The Library Director shall determine appropriate work shifts for Circulation Assistant I/Shelvers. <br /> 37 <br />
