WEEB-Lug Installation
The QRail WEEB-Lug 8.0 is preassembled with a M8-T-bolt, serrated AWG Wire Size WEEB- Lug 8.0 Capacity
flange nut, and a WEEB bonding plate. The lug is installed in the side 14 - 6 1 wire
channel of the QRail rail. 10 2 wires
■ Insert T-head bolt head into the rail's side channel. Be sure to 12 2 wires
allow the bolt head to rotate as far as possible in the T-bolt Table 2.5.1
channel to ensure full engagement of the bolt head with the sides WEEB-Lug 8.0 wire capacity
of the channel.
■ Ensure WEEB washer is aligned with lug body and that lug body
makes full contact with rail. Tighten nut finger tight to hold lug
and WEEB in place
■ Tighten M8 nut to 16 ft-lbf (22 N-m)1 - '
Using the above procedure, install a WEEB-Lug on each segment of the
array. Once all the WEEB-Lugs are installed, use a continuous length
of wire wire to connect each rail by laying wire in the lug wire channel and
secure with the wire capture bolt. This is achieved by routing the grounding
cable through the WEEB Lugs on each array segment. Aluminum and
ATTENTION copper are particularly reactive with each other;
care must be taken to prevent any contact between 7,MUM
aluminum components and bare copper wire (Imageit I
2.5.6).
NOTE!
The WEEB Lug 8.0 can only be reused five times. When Image 2.5.6
uninstalled and reinstalled, it must be moved to a new location.
