December 14, 2022 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., <br />December 14, 2022, President Stonecipher presiding. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Fosse, <br />Rhyne, Schwab, Vogeli, Zarlingo, Tuohy, and Stonecipher were present. <br /> <br />Council Member Schwab led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />On behalf of the City Council, Council Member Tuohy acknowledged the original <br />inhabitants of this place, the sduhubš people, and their successors, the Tulalip <br />Tribes. <br /> <br />The minutes of the December 7, 2022, City Council meeting were approved as <br />printed. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR’S COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin welcomed Police Chief Dan Templeman to introduce five new <br />police officers. <br /> <br />OATH – POLICE OFFICERS <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Schwab, to <br />concur with the appointments of Tom Lane, Hannah Nichols, Mason Pistole, <br />Kaitlyn Ricksecker, and Breanna Lashley as new Everett Police Officers. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />The City Clerk administered the oath of office and Mayor Franklin and Council <br />members congratulated Officers Lane, Nichols, Pistole, Ricksecker, and Lashley. <br /> <br />
