December 14, 2022 <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL 2212-66 <br /> <br /> SECOND READING: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE creating a Special Improvement Project, entitled “Forterra <br />Restoration Plan,” Fund 354, Program 083, for the continued <br />implementation of a restoration plan for several publicly owned urban <br />forested areas within the City of Everett <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding a variety of project costs. President Stonecipher <br />requested a future Council briefing to review the construction process. <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION ITEMS: <br /> <br />AGREEMENT - AUTOMATED TRAFFIC SAFETY CAMERA PROGRAM <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Stonecipher, <br />to award and authorize the Mayor to sign a contract from Request for Proposal <br />#2022-002 Automated Traffic Safety Camera Program with NovoaGlobal, Inc. in <br />the amount of $503,868 annually for five years with one (1) five-year extension <br />option as substantially provided. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding communication, signage, equity, and funding usage. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne requested to assist with the program implementation. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council Members Fosse <br />and Rhyne, who voted no. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin left Council chambers at 7:47 p.m. <br /> <br />
