CONSTRUCTION STORMWATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PLAN Job Number 18,831 Section 4—Critical Areas The determination of critical areas on and near the project site was accomplished using the City of Everett Critical Areas Maps 1 through 4. These maps indicate that the project site is located within a liquefaction hazard area and the site contains a very high/severe erosion hazard area and a medium slope landslide hazard area. However, Critical Areas Map 3 indicates that very high/severe erosion hazard areas are associated with slopes steeper than 40%.Also,this map is dated 2006.Therefore,it is likely that the erosion hazard and landslides hazard areas indicated are due to the previous land use of the project site in 2006 for material stockpiling. According to City of Everett Critical Areas Map 6, the Snohomish River near the project area is home to regular large concentrations of waterfowl. Parts of the project site are located below the 100-year base flood elevation. However, since the site has been filled (as a part of previously-approved fill project), no part of the area proposed for construction is below the flood elevation of 15.40.
