For reference, <br />the accessory dwelling unit application checklist including links to other applicable forms, code <br />citations, etc. is available online, here: <br />https://everettwa.gov/Docu mentCenter/View/27221/Accessory-Dwelling-U nit <br />Comments/Corrections <br />1. Per EMC 19.08.100, owner occupancy is required for properties located in residential zones <br />(R-S, R-1, or R-2 zones). A signed Owner Occupancy Certificate is required as part of the ADU <br />Application Checklist. <br />2. A signed and notarized Declaration of Accessory Dwelling Unit Covenant is also required as <br />part of the ADU Application Checklist prior to permit issuance. <br />Please login to your user account and update B2210-031with the requested attachments for staff to <br />review. If you have any difficulties uploading an attachment or updating the file, please contact <br />Admin Staff and/or the Planner On -Duty for assistance —do notcreate a new application. The <br />Planner On -Duty and Admin Staff can be reached via email at Plan ning(cDeverettwa.gov or phone at <br />425.257.8731. <br />Upon updating the application, please send an email to the Planner On -Duty at <br />Dlanning(cDeverettwa.gov. Please be advised that these requirements are in reference to providing a <br />complete land use application only and is not a thorough plan check review. Additional comments or <br />corrections may be requested upon review of the requested materials. <br />Helpful Tips: <br />• Microsoft Edge is the preferred browsers for utilizing the Online Permitting Portal. <br />• To avoid delays in processing, after submitting your application double check that all your <br />attachments saved correctly. You can do so by viewing "My Dashboard" and selecting the <br />paper clip symbol foryour active project. Additional attachments can be uploaded there as <br />needed. <br />• For reference, payment is not due at time of application —please do not submit payment until <br />instructed to do so by Staff <br />Note: these requirements are only in relation to the land use code and do not account for all possihle requirements <br />from other departments.
