The link for the webcast is located at https://everettwa.gov/319/Procurement. The engineer's estimate <br /> for this Project is $555,406. <br /> Work being performed includes, but is not limited to,furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to <br /> construct new bicycle boulevard between Mukilteo Blvd at Elk Hill Dr and Fleming St at Madison St.This includes <br /> constructing raised median islands with textured and pigmented cement concrete,custom shared lane markings <br /> (sharrows), permanent signing, polymer cement surfaced bike lane, and temporary traffic control and <br /> performing all Work as required by the Contract Documents. <br /> ' Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications,addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to <br /> Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", <br /> "Public Works",and "City of Everett". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents <br /> with the ability to: download,view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and <br /> a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e- <br /> ll mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that <br /> do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan <br /> room for addenda issued on this project. One hundred percent (100%) Payment and Performance Bonds will <br /> be required of the successful Bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder <br /> may withdraw its Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, except as may be provided in the Contract <br /> Documents. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City. <br /> The right is reserved by the City to postpone the award for a period of forty-five (45) days after bid opening. <br /> The Contractor will be required to comply with all local, State, and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to <br /> equal employment opportunities. <br /> The City, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964(78 Stat.252,42 U.S.C. 2000d <br /> to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract <br /> entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair <br /> ' opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of <br /> race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. <br />
