ORDINANCE NO. 2278-98 <br /> AN ORDINANCE relating to Business Improvement Areas, approving the 1998 budget <br /> for the Downtown Everett Business Improvement Area. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett City Council, with the passage of Ordinance No. 2097-95, <br /> established a Downtown Everett Business Improvement Area(BIA): and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett City Council approved a 1996 and 1997 budget for expenditures <br /> for the BIA; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Downtown Everett Property Owners Association has proposed a 1998 annual <br /> budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed 1998 annual budget is necessary and <br /> appropriate in order to meet the objectives and purposes for which the BIA was formed. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: The 1998 annual budget and proposed activities for the Downtown Business <br /> Improvement Area, District No. 1, attached and made a part of this ordinance as Attachment A, <br /> and the 1998 assessment, attached and made a p. . of this ordinance as Attachment B, are hereby <br /> approved. <br /> O <br /> D -i'Ti, D.
