<br /> 55 <br /> <br />ARTICLE 37 - AUTOMATIC VEHICLE LOCATOR <br /> <br /> <br />Recognizing that SNOPAC communications dispatch center plans to implement Auto Vehicle Locator <br />(AVL) technology throughout its communication system, the City and the IAFF Local 46 mutually agree <br />to not use AVL data without cause for disciplinary investigations or actions. AVL equipment may be <br />used for computer-aided dispatch, mapping, proximity-based routing, incident/accident investigation, <br />training, service planning, system performance monitoring, complaint resolution, criminal investigations, <br />and as part of follow-up to corrective action. AVL equipment will not be randomly used to monitor <br />employee performance without cause. <br />
