It appears you are proposing new units on the roof. New rooftop units require screening in <br /> accordance with EMC19.39.040.0 and EMC19.28.020(M-M zone development standards chapter). <br /> EMC19.39.040.0 states:Rooftop Appurtenances, Required Screening. Vents, mechanical penthouses, elevator <br /> equipment and similar appurtenances that extend above the roofline shall be landscaped or architecturally <br /> screened, except for rod and wire antennas, and dish antennas approved pursuant to subsection A of this section. <br /> The height of the screening must be at least as high as the rooftop appurtenances.
