February 1, 2023 <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />PROPOSED ACTION ITEMS: <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL 2301-01 <br /> <br /> SECOND READING: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3779-20, entitled “Everett Municipal Building – <br />Public Works Tenant Improvement Project,” Fund 336, Program 015, to accumulate all <br />design costs for the project <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION ITEMS: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – 2023 HUMAN NEEDS GRANTS <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 7861 approving the 2023 Human Needs Grant allocations and authorizing the Mayor or her <br />designee to execute contracts with grant recipients. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – SPECIAL ASSESSMENT LEVY MODIFICATIONS PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE BIA <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Vogeli, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 7862 setting a Public Hearing before the City Council to receive comments on the City’s <br />intent to modify the special assessment levy of the Downtown Business Improvement Area. <br /> <br />Dan Eernissee, Economic Development Director, provided a summary of the resolution, and <br />shared next steps with Council regarding changes to the Downtown Everett Business Association, <br />BIA Improvement Area. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br />
