Inspections are required for all stages of construction.Visit the City's Online Permitting Portal at pw.everettwa.gov to formally <br /> request all required inspections.A handout is provided at permit issuance with instructions on how to request an inspection online. <br /> 6. Any damage to City improvements(sidewalk,curb, roadway,etc.)shall be replaced per City Standards and/or as directed by the <br /> City PW Inspector. <br /> 7.City of Everett Water Department crews shall make all connections to City water main at owner/contractor's expense.This work to <br /> be under a separate Utility Permit to be purchased at the Permit Services Counter per a cost estimate by the Water Department.Work <br /> shall be scheduled 3-4 weeks in advance. <br /> 8. Prior to any interruption to the public right-of-way(roadways, parking lanes,or sidewalks)a Traffic Street Use permit shall be <br /> obtained from the City's Traffic Engineering Division.This permit can be applied for online at pw.everettwa.gov and requires a traffic <br /> control plan to be submitted for the area of requested closure. Please allow 1-2 weeks for TSU permit issuance from the date of <br /> application. <br /> 9. Prior to the start of construction, provide structural plans and loading calculations to the City for the detention vault.Vaults within a <br /> traveled way which exceed 20 feet in length along the direction of travel shall be designed to meet bridge structural standards in <br /> accordance with the current version of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.Vaults meeting these criteria shall be designed by a <br /> structural engineer licensed in the State of Washington [DCSS 4-4.4(3)]. Refer to the City vehicle loading requirements previously <br /> provided. <br /> 10.To demonstrate detention vault stability where seasonal groundwater may induce flotation,you may:(a)provide engineering <br /> calculations prior to the start of construction or(b)or the geotechnical engineer for the project may evaluate this during construction <br /> and provide a letter to the City. <br /> 11.As-builts of storm,sanitary sewer,and water systems will be required to be submitted to the PW Inspector per City Design and <br /> Construction Standards and Specifications for Development prior to final approval/close out of the permit. <br /> 12. A 1-year Warranty Bond in the amount of 10%of the construction costs for all public improvements shall be submitted to the City <br /> prior to final approval/close out of the permit. <br /> 13.A 2-year Warranty Bond in the amount of 10%of the construction costs for all Stormwater Infrastructure shall be submitted to the <br /> City prior to final approval/close out of the permit. <br /> 14.A Landscape Inspection is required by the Planning Department prior to final by the Public Works Inspector.Schedule the existing <br /> Planning Landscape inspection under"My Active Inspections"in your dashboard on the Online Permitting Portal. <br /> 15.
