City of Everett 01 3553 - 1 <br /> 2023 Biosolids Removal UT 3752-30 <br /> I <br /> SECTION 01 3553 - SECURITY PROCEDURES <br /> 1 <br /> 1.1 SUMMARY <br /> A. Section Includes: Procedures to maintain security including unauthorized entry, <br /> vandalism, and theft to buildings and grounds at Project site. <br /> ' B. Contractors shall understand that maintaining security at each of the City's sites <br /> is of the utmost importance and should the Contractor fail to adhere to the agreed <br /> upon security procedures access may be limited to the hours associated within <br /> the working hours of City staff. <br /> C. Related Sections: <br /> 1. Section 01 3119 - Project Meetings <br /> 2. Section 01 5000 - Temporary Facilities and Controls <br /> 1.2 SECURITY PROGRAM <br /> A. Discuss with City, at Preconstruction Meetingspecified Section 01 Y p 3119, a <br /> security program to prevent unauthorized entry and to protect against other <br /> security problems, including loss due to theft, vandalism, and fire. <br /> B. Arrange with City for access through locked gates as necessary to perform Work <br /> of this Contract. <br /> 1. Contractor is responsible for supplying a keyed padlock to secure the gates <br /> at Water Pollution Control Facility Biosolids Pad. Contractor will coordinate <br /> with City to place lock in the daisy chain securing these gates. <br /> C. Establish adequate flood lighting to allow monitoring of Project site during <br /> morning and evening hours. Contractor is responsible to position lighting to avoid <br /> glare shining towards residential areas surrounding the WPCF. <br /> D. Contractor shall note that the City's Biosolids Pad is monitored by security <br /> cameras; however, this does not exclude the contractor from taking measures to <br /> secure and protect his equipment from theft or vandalism. <br /> 1.3 STORAGE AND PROTECTION <br /> A. Provide for secure lockup of stored materials and take additional measures to <br /> protect against theft vandalism, and other loss of property belonging to City <br /> located on site and at off-site facilities. <br /> 01 3553 - 1 SECURITY PROCEDURES <br /> I <br />
