' City of Everett 00 1113 - 1 <br /> 2023 WPCF Biosolids Removal UT 3808 - 2 <br /> SECTION 00 1113 -ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> ' Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 2023 Biosolids Removal project will be <br /> received at the office of the City Clerk, 1 sT Floor Everett Municipal Building, 2930 <br /> Wetmore, Everett, WA, 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. At the <br /> appointed time, all bids will be opened and read aloud publicly via webcast only. The <br /> link for the webcast is located at https://everettwa.gov/319/Procurement. The engineer's <br /> estimate for this Project is $800,000. <br /> The City of Everett owns a Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) located near Everett, WA and <br /> ' is seeking a Contractor to dredge and dewater 2,000 dry tons of biosolids from the City's <br /> Recirculation Channel at the WPCF. The Water Pollution Control Facility is located at 4027 4th <br /> Street Southeast, Everett WA. Contractor is expected to conduct their operations and manage <br /> the dewatered biosolids on the City's Biosolids Pad. Mandatory pre-bid walk-throughs are <br /> scheduled at 10:30 a.m. on November 22', 2022 and at 10:30 a.m. on November 29th, 2022. <br /> All bidders are required to attend a walk-through one of the two dates provided. Prospective <br /> bidders will meet at the WPCF for the walk-through. Any questions and/or answers from these <br /> ' walk throughs that may affect the bid will be included in an addendum to the bid documents and <br /> sent to all the plan holders. <br /> Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders <br /> List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and <br /> clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of Everett". This online plan room <br /> ' provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, <br /> order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take- <br /> off tool. It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail <br /> notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders <br /> List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to <br /> periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. Contact Builders <br /> Exchange of Washington at (425) 258-1303 should you require assistance with access or <br /> registration. <br /> ' All bids must be made upon the City forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied <br /> by a bid bond or certified check or cashier's check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) <br /> of the total amount of the Bid, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. One hundred (100) <br /> ' percent payment and performance Bonds will be required of the successful Bidder to guarantee <br /> faithful performance of the contract. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or <br /> ' informalities. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. The City <br /> further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City.
