<br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Section 114 of Ordinance No. 2513
<br /> of the City of Everett, entitled as follows:
<br /> An Ordinance relating to, end providing for, the
<br /> licensing and regulating of certain occupations,
<br /> businesses, vocations, trades, callings, amusements,
<br /> places and establishments; defining offenses, providing
<br /> penalties; providing for the revocation and suspension
<br /> of licenses, repealing Ordinances No. 2196, 853, 1301,
<br /> 1503, 1583, 1585, 1595, 1598, 1771, 1851, 1932, 1941,
<br /> 1948, 1964, 2087, 2182, 2249, 2333, 2370 and 2038,
<br /> and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in
<br /> conflict herewith,
<br /> and declaring an emergency.
<br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN:
<br /> Section 1: That section 114 of Ordimnce No. 2513
<br /> of the City of Everett, entitled as above set forth, be, and the
<br /> same is hereby amended to read as follows:
<br /> Section 114: That no person, firm, corporation, or
<br /> other association of persons, shall own, keep, operate, or manage
<br /> in any public resort, or in any other place, except in private
<br /> homes, within the City of Everett, any pool table , billiard table,
<br /> , pigeon-hole table, card table, ten pin alley, or box ball or
<br /> bowling alley, or any stand or fixture upon which or wherein any
<br /> game of any kind is played or carried on in any manner in any
<br /> public resort or any publics places except in private homes,
<br /> without first obtaining a license so to do as provided in this
<br /> ordinance .
<br /> section 2: an emergency is declared to exist and
<br /> this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage andpublicetion.
